SUPPORT FOR YOUR SITUATION

Compare graduate funding and remaining costs

Begin with the degree and the way funding is awarded. Princeton illustrates admission-linked Ph.D. support during regular enrollment. Fulbright Foreign Student funding uses a home-country process and separate university placement. Georgia Tech OMSCS is a lower-cost online master’s, not a full-funding promise. AAUW’s reviewed international STEM fellowship cycle is closed. Compare the actual offered support, remaining costs and application route before committing.

INSTITUTION-SPECIFIC

Princeton Ph.D. tuition, health-plan and stipend funding

Princeton supports its Ph.D. students during regular enrollment with full tuition, university student health-plan coverage and a base stipend intended to cover estimated living expenses. Support can combine fellowships, teaching/research assistantships and external awards; this is not a personally priced offer.

Condition to check first

First obtain admission to an actual Ph.D. programme. Graduate admission requires an accredited bachelor’s degree before enrollment; international equivalency and department requirements still apply.

Application timing

Fall-2027 admission is open in the reviewed source. Deadlines differ by department, with application and supporting materials due by 11:59 p.m. Eastern on the posted programme date; there is no single university-wide date in this record.
NATIONAL RESOURCE

Fulbright Foreign Student Program

The common Foreign Student Programme lists funding support, J-1 visa sponsorship, a health benefit plan and enrichment activities. Confirm the country/award’s actual funding package and university placement rather than assuming a universal full-tuition amount.

Condition to check first

Use the programme for your country of nomination and reside there at application. The common page requires a U.S.-bachelor’s equivalent with a good academic record by the programme start; country additions still apply.

Application timing

Check the home-country commission or U.S. embassy for its current cycle and deadline. The programme uses established country/award deadlines; no universal date or open status is established here.
NATIONAL RESOURCE

Georgia Tech Online MS in Computer Science

OMSCS requires at least 30 credit hours. The Fall-2026 bursar table lists tuition per credit at $227 in-state, $236 out-of-state or $248 out-of-country, plus online learning fees of $212 below four credits or $531 for four or more credits per semester. These are dated semester rates, not a guaranteed total degree price.

Condition to check first

A bachelor’s degree, equivalent or higher is required before matriculation; work experience cannot substitute. A computing/related degree and 3.0 GPA are preferred qualifications, with other applicants reviewed individually rather than automatically rejected or admitted.

Application timing

The official page lists March 1 for Fall and August 15 for Spring, with no Summer admission. These are recurring month/day cutoffs without an explicit intake year in the reviewed text; verify the year and submit all supporting materials on time.

Where to start

STEP 1

Separate a Ph.D. package from master’s pricing

A university-wide Ph.D. support model does not establish funding for every master’s degree. Check the exact degree and department, regular-enrollment term, satisfactory-progress conditions and whether support uses fellowships or teaching/research work.

STEP 2

Choose the right admission or fellowship process

Princeton’s funding requires its own admission. Fulbright applicants follow a home-country office and confirm IIE placement versus self-placement; university applications may be a separate responsibility. A closed AAUW cycle is useful for planning, not current funding.

STEP 3

Compare the actual remaining budget

Obtain the offered tuition coverage, health-plan support, stipend, fees and timing in writing. A cost-of-attendance allowance is a budget rather than an automatic grant. Online programme charges, course load and living circumstances can differ from a general campus table.

Questions before you apply

Does a fully funded Ph.D. mean every graduate student gets the same package?

No. The Princeton example is specific to admitted, regularly enrolled Ph.D. candidates with satisfactory performance. Its master’s funding varies by department. Other universities and degrees need their own written offer.

Can international applicants use these funding routes?

Princeton uses the same graduate application for U.S. and international applicants. Fulbright Foreign Student funding has home-country and non-U.S.-citizenship conditions. AAUW’s closed reviewed cycle has additional women, STEM, academic and immigration requirements. These are distinct routes, not one universal eligibility rule.

Can I use an undergraduate net-price calculator for an online master’s?

Do not assume it applies. Check the programme and billing semester, and ask the graduate financial-aid office about the right estimate. Georgia Tech’s shared online-cost page separates programme charges from living allowances; its Executive MBA table is not an OMSCS quote.
