SUPPORT FOR YOUR SITUATION

International student funding and lower-cost study

Match the qualification before comparing aid. Berea provides an institution-specific undergraduate route; Curtis has selective music admission. Princeton’s reviewed support is for admitted Ph.D. candidates during regular enrollment. Fulbright Foreign Student applications follow the home-country commission or embassy and a placement process. AAUW’s reviewed 2027–28 STEM cycle is closed. Confirm citizenship/residence, degree, intake and the complete remaining budget for your own route.

INSTITUTION-SPECIFIC

Berea College international student financial aid

Princeton Ph.D. tuition, health-plan and stipend funding

Princeton supports its Ph.D. students during regular enrollment with full tuition, university student health-plan coverage and a base stipend intended to cover estimated living expenses. Support can combine fellowships, teaching/research assistantships and external awards; this is not a personally priced offer.

Condition to check first

First obtain admission to an actual Ph.D. programme. Graduate admission requires an accredited bachelor’s degree before enrollment; international equivalency and department requirements still apply.

Application timing

Fall-2027 admission is open in the reviewed source. Deadlines differ by department, with application and supporting materials due by 11:59 p.m. Eastern on the posted programme date; there is no single university-wide date in this record.
NATIONAL RESOURCE

Fulbright Foreign Student Program

The common Foreign Student Programme lists funding support, J-1 visa sponsorship, a health benefit plan and enrichment activities. Confirm the country/award’s actual funding package and university placement rather than assuming a universal full-tuition amount.

Condition to check first

Use the programme for your country of nomination and reside there at application. The common page requires a U.S.-bachelor’s equivalent with a good academic record by the programme start; country additions still apply.

Application timing

Check the home-country commission or U.S. embassy for its current cycle and deadline. The programme uses established country/award deadlines; no universal date or open status is established here.

Where to start

STEP 1

Choose undergraduate, master’s or doctoral study

Berea’s undergraduate route does not admit a person who already holds a bachelor’s degree. Princeton’s Ph.D. support does not imply a master’s guarantee. Fulbright country rules and university placement determine the applicable graduate option; Curtis requires its own music admission.

STEP 2

Use your actual citizenship and country process

The international routes have different rules from domestic FAFSA or Dreamer support. Use Fulbright’s official country selector, check residence and local deadlines, and confirm university placement responsibilities. AAUW’s reviewed STEM cycle excludes U.S. permanent residents and green-card applicants and is already closed.

STEP 3

Obtain the complete cost and funding offer

Compare tuition, living support, health coverage, fees, deposits, study duration and any work/progress conditions. A funding label or historical net-price figure does not decide your personal bill. Online study also needs its own programme and visa/relocation check.

Questions before you apply

Can I use the same scholarship at any U.S. institution?

Berea, Curtis and Princeton support is tied to admission at the named institution. Fulbright has country-specific selection and IIE-placement or self-placement rules; confirm its actual award and university process rather than assuming a portable unlimited scholarship.

Are AAUW International Fellowships currently open?

The reviewed 2027–28 STEM cycle closed on September 17, 2026. Its stated award notification and study-period dates are not new application deadlines. Check AAUW for a later announcement before relying on a future award.

Does full tuition cover every living and application expense?

No universal conclusion follows from that label. Read each programme’s cost/benefit details and the actual offer. Princeton describes tuition, health-plan and base-stipend support during regular Ph.D. enrollment; other routes have different deposits, budgets and remaining costs.

Can an international student simply use a domestic aid or Dreamer form?

Use the eligibility for your own citizenship and immigration status. The reviewed UMPI YourPace guidance excludes international students from U.S. federal aid, and TheDream.US has its own status/arrival rules rather than a general international-student award.
